No I don't think you understand. Unlike a lot of countries, the US has kept its democracy and has this standard that everyone can live safely without having to worry about getting killed and stuff. That's why it's shocking that the shooting would happen. But the same sort of thing happened in China (A man murdered 22 people with a knife today) but it isn't as big of a deal because it's become a standard of living there. It's sad but true.

Well that’s your opinion, cos I think it’s still shocking no matter where you live
